Dennis Enviro 300

With the sale of the Redditch and Kidderminster depots of First Midland Red to Diamond Bus on 3rd March 2013, three Dennis Enviro300 single-deck vehicles were included in the transfer. These were VX54 MSU, VX54 MSY and VX54 MTE. FirstGroup retained the remainder of the Enviro300 fleet that had operated from Redditch depot, meaning only these three vehicles passed to Diamond Bus as part of the depot sale. As with all the other vehicles transferred at the time, they were renumbered into the Rotala PLC fleet numbering system, with First Midland Red fleet numbers replaced by Diamond Bus fleet numbers. The vehicles became: 67644 → 30833 67645 → 30834 67646 → 30835 In July 2013, two further Enviro300s joined the Diamond Bus fleet following their acquisition from Hanson's of Stourbridge, adding further capacity to the growing fleet. During November 2014, Rotala acquired a number of vehicles from Dunn-Line in Nottingham. Among these were two 2010-registered Enviro300s, which represented a later development of the type compared with the earlier examples already operated by Diamond Bus. These vehicles featured updated specifications and provided a useful addition to the existing Enviro300 fleet.
