Like the Dennis Dart, Diamond Bus has never purchased a new Alexander Dennis Enviro200. Instead, the company's fleet of this type has been built entirely through the acquisition of other operators. Most of the current Enviro200 fleet has been inherited through the purchases of Hanson's of Wordsley, Johnson's Excel Bus and Central Buses. Following their transfer, many of these vehicles initially entered service still carrying their former operators' liveries, with only Diamond Bus fleetnames applied pending repainting into the standard company colours. The one exception was KX07 OOW, which has been part of the Diamond Bus fleet since 2011. The vehicle initially operated from the former Long Acre depot under the Central Connect operating licence. Following the integration of Central Connect into Diamond Bus, it was transferred to the company's Tividale depot. Throughout its career with Diamond Bus, it worked alongside the predominantly Volvo B7 fleet on key commercial services, including the 16 and 50 in Birmingham. On 24 April 2022, Rotala acquired the Claribel Coaches operation, bringing a further Enviro200 into the fleet, numbered 20533. This was followed in May 2022 by the acquisition of Johnson's Excel Bus, which added a further seven Alexander Dennis Enviro200s to the expanding Diamond Bus fleet. As a result of these acquisitions, the Enviro200 became an increasingly important part of the Diamond Bus single-deck fleet, providing modern, low-floor vehicles across a wide range of both commercial and supported services throughout the West Midlands.

With the acquisition of the bus operations of Hanson's Local Bus on Sunday 25 February 2018, a number of Alexander Dennis Enviro200s joined the Diamond Bus fleet. The vehicles comprised both short and long-wheelbase variants, further strengthening the company's modern single-deck fleet. All of the vehicles entered service in their existing Hanson's Local Bus livery, with Diamond Bus fleetnames applied pending repainting into the company's standard colours. The repainting programme took around a year to complete. By the time it had been finished, several of the vehicles had already been returned to Mistral, the leasing company that owned the fleet when it transferred to Diamond Bus, following the expiry of their lease agreements.

With the acquisition of the bus operations of Central Buses on Sunday 25th February 2018, a number of Alexander Dennis Enviro200 single-deck buses joined the Diamond Bus fleet. The vehicles comprised both the short-wheelbase and long-wheelbase variants, providing additional capacity and flexibility across the network. On entering service with Diamond Bus, the vehicles initially retained their distinctive Central Buses livery, with only Diamond Bus fleet names and legal lettering applied. This allowed the buses to be introduced quickly while maintaining service continuity following the takeover. The repainting programme was carried out gradually over the following year, with the vehicles receiving the standard Diamond Bus fleet livery as they became available for refurbishment. Before the programme was completed, however, a number of the Enviro200s had been transferred to the company's Diamond Bus North West operation, meaning they never carried the full Diamond Bus Midlands livery. Despite this, the acquisition of these modern, low-floor vehicles significantly strengthened the Diamond Bus fleet and provided additional capacity for both existing and newly acquired services.

During May and June 2009, Arriva London took delivery of 19 Alexander Dennis Dart SLF single-deck buses with Alexander Dennis Enviro200 bodywork. Numbered ENL30–49, the vehicles were built to Transport for London specification with dual-door layouts and entered service on a variety of London bus contracts. Following their withdrawal from London service, the vehicles were converted to a conventional single-door layout before being sold during 2021 to the Go Goodwins Group, where they continued operating on services in Greater Manchester. The introduction of the Bee Network bus franchising programme in Greater Manchester brought significant changes to the local bus industry. One casualty was Little Gem, which had experienced financial difficulties for some time before ceasing operations and entering voluntary liquidation on Friday 28th April 2023. Although owned by members of the Goodwin family, Little Gem operated as a completely separate business from the Go Goodwins Group and Mayne Coaches, both of which continued trading independently. The closure of Little Gem presented an opportunity for Rotala. The company had operated from premises directly opposite Diamond Bus North West's Eccles depot, which required expansion to accommodate the additional franchised work that Diamond Bus would commence from September 2023. Rotala subsequently purchased the former Little Gem depot along with 14 buses, all of which had previously been upgraded to meet Euro VI emissions standards. As the West Midlands operation required all buses to comply with Euro VI emissions regulations for operation within the region, the acquired vehicles were transferred from the North West to Diamond Bus Midlands, where they entered service on a variety of routes. Their arrival provided additional low-emission capacity at a time when Diamond Bus was expanding its operations while ensuring continued compliance with the increasingly stringent environmental standards across the West Midlands.

During October 2009, Travel London took delivery of 13 Alexander Dennis Dart SLF single-deck buses with Alexander Dennis Enviro200 bodywork for use on Transport for London contracts. Built to London specification, the vehicles featured dual-door layouts to speed passenger boarding and alighting on busy urban services. Following the sale of the National Express London bus operations to Abellio London in 2010, the vehicles transferred to the new owner and continued operating on Transport for London services. During 2021, they were withdrawn from London service, converted to a conventional single-door layout and sold to the Go Goodwins Group for operation in Greater Manchester. The introduction of the Bee Network bus franchising programme in Greater Manchester brought significant changes to the local bus industry, with several independent operators finding it increasingly difficult to compete. Of all the Alexander Dennis Enviro200s in the Diamond Bus fleet, SN10 CDK has perhaps enjoyed the most varied and interesting career. The vehicle was new in July 2010, when it was delivered to the Dunn-Line subsidiary of Veolia Transport, based in Nottingham. Allocated fleet number 1001, it was primarily employed on a contract serving the University of Nottingham, where it spent the first few months of its working life. In January 2011, SN10 CDK was one of between 30 and 40 vehicles sold by Dunn-Line to Premier Travel. Renumbered 3340, it initially remained on the University of Nottingham contract before later being repainted into the company's distinctive red fleet livery. By the summer of 2013, the vehicle had transferred to Yourbus, part of the Dunn Motor Traction group, where it became fleet number 1401. It initially continued to operate the university contract before being repainted into the familiar blue and silver Yourbus livery for use across the company's wider network in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The next chapter in the vehicle's career came in October 2019, when Yourbus ceased trading. Diamond Bus acquired six Enviro200s from the former operator, including SN10 CDK, which entered the Rotala fleet as 31401. The vehicle was allocated to the company's Bolton depot, where it operated on local services across Greater Manchester. Following the award of the first tranche of Bee Network bus franchises, Rotala agreed the sale of its Bolton depot and a significant number of vehicles to Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM). Unlike many of its stablemates, however, 31401 remained in the Diamond Bus fleet. It was initially retained to operate Bee Network franchised services until replacement vehicles entered service, after which it joined the small fleet dedicated to TfGM school contracts. The vehicle continued in this role until early 2025, when it was briefly loaned to Preston Bus before returning to Diamond Bus. In May 2025, it transferred to the company's Kidderminster depot in the West Midlands, where it entered service on local routes. Today, 31401 has a rather scruffy appearance. During its time in Greater Manchester it carried full Bee Network branding, and although this was removed before the vehicle moved south, no replacement fleet livery or branding has yet been applied. As a result, the bus currently operates in plain white, making it one of the more distinctive members of the Diamond Bus fleet despite its lack of any operator branding.

With the purchase of the bus operations of Johnson's of Henley-in-Arden on 29th May 2022, a further seven Alexander Dennis Enviro200 single-deck vehicles joined the Diamond Bus fleet. All seven vehicles had been purchased new by Johnson's following the award of various contracts from Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) and Warwickshire County Council. On transfer of the operation to Diamond Bus, all seven vehicles were allocated to the company's Redditch depot, where they initially continued to operate the former Johnson's services that had been acquired as part of the takeover. Following the loss of the Warwickshire County Council contracts from the end of July 2022, the vehicles became available for wider use and were subsequently employed on local Redditch town services. By September 2022, vehicles 31417, 31418 and 31422 had been transferred to Burton-on-Trent, while the remaining four vehicles moved to Kidderminster depot. During March 2024, vehicles 31416–31420 were transferred to Burton-on-Trent, consolidating their use on services operated from that depot. In May 2025, vehicles 31418, 31419 and 31422 returned to Kidderminster depot, where they rejoined the Diamond Bus West Midlands fleet and continued to see regular service.

With the purchase of Midland Classic on 3rd August 2022, a further 11 Alexander Dennis Enviro200 single-deck vehicles joined the Diamond Bus fleet. Unlike the Enviro200s acquired from Johnson's of Henley-in-Arden, these vehicles had a much more varied history and had not all been purchased new by Midland Classic. The oldest five examples, all carrying 2012 registrations, featured dual-door layouts and had originally been built for operation on Transport for London red bus contracts before later finding their way into the Midland Classic fleet. The remaining six vehicles were all single-door examples and represented a mixture of buses that had been purchased new and others that had joined Midland Classic when relatively new. Together, the vehicles strengthened the Diamond Bus fleet following the acquisition and provided additional modern low-floor capacity for operations in East Staffordshire. All 11 Enviro200s transferred directly into the Diamond Bus fleet and were allocated to the Burton-on-Trent depot, where they continued to operate local services. During May 2025, the personalised registrations carried by vehicles 31428, 31429 and 31430, which had originated during their time with Midland Classic, were removed. The vehicles were subsequently re-registered onto standard registration marks as part of their continued operation within the Diamond Bus fleet.
